Brewed May 28, 2010
Release 2 was big and satisfying at 9.1% ABV and plenty of spicy fermentation flavours. The two Gold medals received for this beer have left us wondering if we dare to improve on it!
The Malt/Grain/Sugars
Premium Weyermann Pilsner, Ultra Premium Maris Otter as the base malts. Light Candy Sugar, Briess Carapils Malt, Flaked Oats and a touch of Briess White Wheat Malt.
The Hops
In the Boil: Premiant, Tettnang and Saaz
ABV 9.1%
