Imperial Red Ale Release #1

Release #1 – Brewed April 22, 2010

A boldly flavored double red ale.  Combining caramel malt for sweetness mixed with nice alcohol and plenty of dry and late kettle hop aromas from three killer America strains create a beer that is tough to compare.

Malts

Ultra Premium Maris Otter Malt, Premium Briess Malt, Crystal, Carapils and CaraAroma.

Hops

Columbus, Mt. Hood, Cascade and Amarillo.  Dry Hop: Centennial
8% ABV, IBU’s ~40, but tastes like a bit more
